    Description:\

    EJB XML Editor Beta 1

When working with EJBs for Weblogic 5.1 and Orion, this tool allows for modification of the deployment descriptors in the JARs easily.

It has help for determining what descriptors do what. This program also allows for combining of EJB JARs into one EJB JAR. This is very helpful when reaching a phase in the project for deployment. Inherently, This tool allows for basic XML file editing. This is a template based tool.

By using templates, the users of this tool can customize the way they insert new beans, number of descriptors allowed, possible values that are used for each descriptor and help that goes along with each descriptor.

For example when using weblogic, you have a descriptor of home-load-alogorithm.

Use can customize the values for it to be only RoundRobin and Random so that your developers will never use WeightBased on accident.

You can also change the help so that you explain to the developers why WeightBased is not there and what specific cases in your application that Random should be used over RoundRobin for example.

This is done by modifying templates that are self explanatory.
